The David Library will close its Washington Crossing location for good at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31.
Until then, the Library will be open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm. The Library is closed Sunday, Monday, and holidays. Admission is free.
The Library will be open from 10 am – 7 pm on the following Thursdays: October 10, October 17 and November 21, 2019.
The Library will be closed in observance of the following holidays:
Saturday, August 31, 2019 (Labor Day)
Thursday, November 28 through Monday, December 2, 2019 (Thanksgiving Break)
Tuesday, December 24, 2019 (Christmas Eve)
Wednesday, December 25, 2019 (Christmas Day)
Additional closings may be required on short notice due to various reasons such as power outages. In inclement weather, check social media before traveling to the Library.
Getting to the David Library
The nearest major railroad station is in Trenton, New Jersey and services Amtrak and New Jersey Transit trains. The nearest SEPTA station (Philadelphia commuter line) is in Yardley, Pennsylvania, approximately six miles from the David Library. There is no public transportation between the stations and the Library.
The David Library is located on Route 32 (River Road), 1.3 miles north of the Washington Crossing Bridge. From Interstate 95, travel north on Taylorsville Road from Exit 51 (New Hope).
