Become a Friend of the David Library

The Friends of the David Library is our recognition program for the most steadfast donors of the David Library of the American Revolution. For a tax deductible gift of $300 for an individual, or $500 for a couple, Friends are invited to a series of special events that allow them to meet leading historians and enjoy unique hands-on experiences with historical artifacts.

Recently, Friends of the David Library enjoyed a private exhibit of “The First Oval Office,” the replica of General Washington’s camp tent created by the Museum of the American Revolution and Colonial Williamsburg.  Here’s a short video we produced about that special “Friends only” event:

As fun and informative as our unique Friends events are, the best part of joining the Friends of the David Library is the satisfaction you will enjoy from knowing that your level of giving has an especially significant impact on DLAR’s ability to deliver outstanding library services and educational programs.
Please consider joining the Friends of the David Library today!
